Vintage Mexican made sterling silver necklace with container pendant. A basket weave holder is tubular in shape. The bottom is solid silver as is the lid. The lid has holes in the top and slips on and off, up and down the chain. Inside the holder is ready to fill with your goodies! This piece dates to the 3rd quarter of the 20th century, circa 1950s - 1975s.

Marked as Mexico 925 for sterling silver on the bottom and is tested as such.

Container sits 6.5 cm / 2.55 inches tall and is 2.4 cm / 0.95 inches in diameter on the inside and 2.72 cm / 1.05 inches in diameter on the outside. Chain is approx 81 cm / 32 inches long and slips over the head.
