Pretty bezel set oval cut moonstone ring dating to the early 20th century. An oval shaped cabochon cut moonstone has been bezel set in 9 carat rose gold. The moonstone is clear and shows some shimmery silver tones with a bit of blue. The rose coloured gold bezel encloses the bottom of the gemstone and is curved to fit the finger. A tapered, narrow band makes this ring stand out on the finger, and the band widens in the back so it's nice and sturdy. This ring dates to the 1910s - 1920s and is European in origin.

Moonstone: oval shape, cabochon cut measuring approx 10.8 mm by 8 mm.

Hallmarked as 9ct for 9 carat gold and tested as such.
