Long snake chain long guard chain in 800 silver. This chain has a lovely feel to it. The woven style snake chain is smooth and sleek, very tactile.  This chain is a medium width and features a heart shaped slider.  The heart is textured with a hammered design and on top is little five pointed star.  The star has been plated in copper making it stand out against the silver background.  The other side of the slider is a textured design as shown in the photos.

This chain does not open, both ends are fastened to a sphere which attaches to a dog clip. This chain dates to the early to mid 20th century and is European in origin.

Marked 800 on the dog clip and the chain tests as 800 silver throughout.  The star design on the slider is copper.

Measures approx 68.5 cm / 27 inches doubled which is about 137 cm / 54 inches if the chain could be opened.  The chain is approx 1.45 mm wide.
