Bold lapis and 14 carat gold saddle ring. Fantastically retro in design, this bold ring is chunky with contrasting cool blue gems against the bright yellow gold. The lapis is long with a heavily domed rounded top and spans most of the width of the finger. Flecked with gold, the blue is the lovely royal colour we all love and treasure in lapis lazuli. The wide, flat band curves up to display the stones in a striking way. Underneath the gemstones, on the gallery of the ring, is a simple pierced cut-out design. Circa mid 20th century, likely North American in origin.
In very good condition with some age related wear to the pierced design on the gallery.
Stamped 14k, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold which is yellow in colour. There is also a maker's mark of GC. We've been unable to find any additional information on this maker.
Size: UK - P.5; US - 8.25; EU - 18,3. Sizes taken from centre. This ring can be sized down to L.5 / 6 / 16,5. Resizing available for an additional fee. This ring cannot be made any larger.
Measures approx 12.1 mm / 0.50 inches wide by 15 mm / 0.60 inches long on top. Stands 6.2 mm tall off the finger. Width at back of the band is 5.5 mm wide.
