Vintage lapis earrings in the most wonderful design! These mid 20th century drops are beautiful, gold and blue go well together. A highly domed lapis cabochon is bezel set in the centre of a sleek, convex gold oval. The lapis are a bright, vivid royal blue with small gold flecks in them. The golden ovals swing gently from a kidney shaped ear wire. Circa mid 20th century.
Lapis: round in shape, high domed cabochon cut with lovely gold flecks running through it. Approx 10 mm / 0.40 inches across.
Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold throughout, which is yellow in colour.
Measures approx 29.5 mm / 1.2 inches in total length. Disk measures approx 20 mm / 0.78 inches by 14.2 mm / 0.55 inches.
Weigh 6.7 grams together, about 3.3 - 3.4 grams each.
