Vintage French fancy link long chain.  This long chain necklace features alternating links of twisted, figure 8 style links, and larger two ring loops with an X across them and bead in the middle.  Some of the silver wires are smooth and others have been engraved with a fine ridged design.  This long chain is my favourite length!  It's an easy length to wear doubled so that the chains layer nicely.  Dates to early 20th century, French in origin.

Hallmarked with a crab in a couple places, this is the French hallmark for 800 - 900 silver and tested as such.

Measures 110 cm / 43.3 inches end to end.  Approx 6.88 mm wide.
