Incredible vintage love pendant crafted in 18 carat yellow gold. Formed in the shape of a heart, it's gently concave with the crimped edges slightly higher than the smooth polished centre of the back side. A textured background featured a softly waved design which gives the impression of being a sky. Two stars shine out from this textured background, a five pointed star housing a single ruby, and a polished four pointed star. At the base is Etoile d’ Amour or Star of Love. Circa mid 20th century.

In very good condition. The bail has been worn and clearly loved because it's been reinforced so this pendant is ready to wear for decades more!

Ruby: small round cut of approx 0.02 carats, assumed synthetic as was typical of the time period.

Measures approx 21.1 mm / 0.85 inches tall not including bail by 18.6 mm / 0.75 inches wide.
