Pretty early 20th century three stone diamond engagement ring. Three old eight cut / single cut diamonds are each set into a platinum top in an engraved star design. The settings of these diamonds are outlined in milgrain beading. The diamonds are set an angle with the shape of the shank of this ring mimicking the style of the top; it's squared and angular on top where it frames the diamonds. Circa 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.

Marked 9ct & PLAT. This ring is mostly 9 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
