Ornate 1970s diamond engagement ring set in two tone 18 carat gold. Set in the centre is an eight / single cut diamond. Below the diamond are four diamonds, one to the north, south, east and west. From the top view the two different levels of diamonds give this ring a visual appeal, making the centre diamond appear larger than the surrounding diamonds. Between each of the four surrounding diamonds is a tapered shape of polished white gold. The shoulders are adorned with a lovely ridged design. This ring is 18 carat gold with the diamonds set into white gold and the rest of this ring in yellow gold. Circa 1970s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 5, eight cut, approx 0.09 carats total weight.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1979.
