Curved engraved yellow gold wedding ring by J.E. Caldwell & Co. This is a large size wedding ring which is engraved with a lined section. Between each of the section is a single engraved helmet. Two of the sections are bowed outward and the other two are bowed inward creating a pretty design.

We have an origin story for this unique ring! A West Point Military Academy wife contacted me to say that West Point class rings are meant to be worn on the left ring finger. This of course presents a problem with wearing a wedding ring with the class ring. JE Caldwell supplied class rings to West Point in 1924 and made a curved ring to fit their class rings and solve that problem.

The JE Caldwell & Co was founded by James Caldwell in the early to mid 1800s. This ring dates to the Art Deco era and is North American in origin.

This wedding ring has a wide and shallow curve of approx 14.5 mm wide and 2.5 mm deep.

Marked 14K, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat yellow gold.

Size: UK - T.5; US - 9 3/4; EU - 19.7. Not recommended for resizing due to the shape and style.

Measures approx 2.5 mm wide and stands approx 1.8 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 3.25 grams.
