Vintage 9 carat gold locket pendant in a unique swivel design. This sweet oval shaped is heavily adorned with a detailed foliate pattern. The locket is plain on the back and swivels so that it can be worn plain side to the front. Gold wires hold the locket edges allowing it to turn and these wires come to a lover's knot design above the locket. A wide solid bail allows this pendant to be hung from a chain. Circa late 21st century, British in origin.

In excellent condition. The interior contains a frame and plastic photo covering.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1994.

Measures approx 31.7 mm / 1.25 inches tall not including the bail by 25.7 mm / 1 inches wide.

Weighs 6.3 grams. This is quite a heavy locket for it's size.
