Vintage fede gimmel ring crafted in 9 carat gold. This style of ring, popular since the 1600s, consists of three rings, one with a hand palm up, another with a hand palm down, and the third with a pair of overlapping hearts. The slender bands with the hands are plain while the band with the hearts is scalloped, a lovely detail. All three rings are riveted together in the back so that they can only be opened when the ring is not being worn. This particular example is circa early to mid 20th century, 1900 - 1930s.
Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold which is rose in colour.
Size: UK - M.5; US - 6.5; EU - 16,9. This ring is not suitable for resizing.
Measures approx 6.45 mm wide and stands 4.2 mm deep, 2.1 mm at back centre.
Weighs 2.7 grams.
