Vintage 14k gold 14th Degree of the Scottish Rite Freemason's ring. A wide yellow gold band has a triangle of the same width on top with the symbol for the 14th Degree of the Scottish Rite with the boarder lined in diamonds and the interior of the symbol in blue enamel. Circa 1950s, likely North American in origin.

In very good condition. There is a reflection of the camera's black lens on the silver symbol in the first photo.

The interior is marked with a Latin phrase Virtus Junxit Mors Non Separabit which translates to Whom virtue unites, death will not separate. This appears to the motto for the 14th Degree of the Scottish Rite Masons. There is also a personal inscription, "A.E. Gardiner, Nov. 9/57"

Diamonds: 9, round, totalling 0.10 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 14k and professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold which is yellow in colour.

Size: UK - W; US - 11; EU - 20,5. Sizes taken from trailing edge to help account for the way wider rings usually fit. This ring can be slightly sized down to T / 9.5 / 19,4 without disruption to the engraving and adornment

Measures approx 6.95 mm wide at the diamond shape at the top and 6.75 mm at the back centre, 1.85 mm deep at the enamel top with the band being 1.1 mm deep.

Weighs 6.1 grams.
