Victorian turquoise and gold drop earrings. These earrings are a simple drop shape with a twisted bar. At the bottom is a turquoise, one set on each side as though it goes all the way through. It's a great design because no matter how you're moving, the blue turquoise gem can be seen against the gold drop. Circa 1880s, British in origin.
These earrings may have started life as a different piece of jewellery as based on build. If converted from another piece it was completed before they came into our possession. One turquoise on the back side is set deeper than the others.
