Late Victorian sterling silver albertina. This albertina is styled as a four chain design. The lengths of chain are connected to smaller sphere shaped engraved adornments. Between them, in the centre of the albertina is a large tapered bead crafted in alternate engraved and plain sections. Albertinas were made to carry pocket watches. There is a hook for the button and a dog clip for the pocket watch. The tassel then hangs from the end as an adornment. Circa 1880s - 1900s, likely European in origin.
