Victorian decorative silver tassel with a chased heart design. This tassel has seven snake chain style strands each finished with a silver bead. The top features a heart design around it's widest point with a beaded decoration immediately above and below the hearts.  An engraved double ridge completes the design.  These little beauties were worn on watch chain or Albertina. Dates to the last half of the 1800s.

Not hallmarked, acid tested as sterling silver.

Measures about 3.15 cm / 1.25 inches long excluding bail. 7.77 mm at widest point.

Weighs 2.5 grams.
