Sweet celestial style split pearl and enamel pendant. An eight pointed North Star is set with graduated pearls trailing down each point. Each of the points is outlined with blue enamel and the entire piece is a lovely colour of yellow gold. At the top is a simple looped bail. Circa 1880s, British in origin.
In very good condition with some marks to the back indicating it's been converted from another piece.
Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 12 carat gold. 12ct gold was a British standard used between 1854 and 1923.
Measures approx 32.1 mm / 1.25 inches tall not including the bail by 21.5 mm / 0.85 inches wide.
Weighs 1.65 grams.
