Pair of Victorian gold filled wedding bracelets. These bracelets are sprung and designed as a series of tube shapes strung together. The tubes are alternatively engraved in a chequerboard pattern and plain. The end of each is capped with a frilly design. I love that this matching pair is sprung. They stay in place on the wrist allowing them to easily be stacked with other pieces and best of all don't wander up and down the arm as I move! Circa late Victorian, 1880s.
Not marked, tested to 14 carat gold fill.
I comfortably wear approx 16.5 cm / 6.5 inch bracelets. Because they are sprung they can be worn larger or smaller. Total length of each bracelet is approx 18 cm / 7 inches end to end. 1.6 cm / 0.63 inches wide.
Weigh 54.6 grams together.
