Victorian 9 carat gold engraved wide band. Bold five petalled flowers which look to be daisy in style are engraved with sets of leafs between them creating a scrolling foliate design across the top of this ring. A wide coin edged ridged pattern frames this floral design. This is a low profile ring meaning it sits low or flat on the finger, a style which a lot of people tend to find very comfortable. Circa late 19th century, 1890s. Clearly hallmarked, British in origin.
In very good condition with slight age related wear to the pattern.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1897 making this ring nearly 130 years old. The gold is a bright colour with a slight rose hint as is typical with antique gold.
Size: UK - M; US - 6.25; EU - 16,7. Sizes taken from centre. This ring is not recommended for resizing.
