Wonderful sterling silver Victorian brooch and earring set. This set features a horseshoe with a floral design around it. The design is hand engraved. Around the edges is a scalloped design with silver beads along the outer side. The ear wires of this set have been reshaped, but as they appear original to the earrings we've not replaced them. Late Victorian, circa 1880s, British in origin.

Earrings and brooch are fully hallmarked for sterling silver, assayed in Chester, date letter for 1885. Both pieces have matching hallmarks except for the maker's marks.

Earrings measure 2.62 cm / 1.03 inches long and are 18 mm wide at the widest point; weigh 3.1 grams.

Brooch measures 3.46 cm / 1.36 inches and weighs 6.1 grams.
