SOLD. Sorry, this item has sold.

Bright and shiny late Victorian gentlemen's cuff links in 9 carat yellow gold. These cuff links are a reddish yellow gold, as is typical of Victorian gold. The links are a smooth puffed oval shape, like a pebble. These cuff links are hallmarked in several places and also have a makers mark. The mark is CS*FS for Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd, English gold and silversmiths during the late 1800s to early 1900s. This maker was registered in a few different locations and this combined with the hallmarks being worn through regular wear make these hard to date exactly. Circa 1870s - 1890s, British in origin.

Hallmarked on each section on both cuff links as well as on the chain.

Measures approx 15 mm by 9.5 mm and the connecting chain is approx 19.5 mm long.

Weighs 4.3 grams.
