Antique Victorian 9 carat gold fancy link long guard chain. This chain has been crafted as a long open bar shaped links with smaller knotted design connecting links. It's a long, lean link which is very heavy and sturdy. Both ends of the chain are attached to a jump ring from which there is a dog clip allowing a pendant, locket or ring with charms to be hung. Dates to the late Victorian era, circa 1880s, British in origin.

Hallmarked with a 9c on the tag on the end of the chain and tested as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures 147 cm / 58 inches and is approx 3.3 mm wide at widest point.
