
Antique three stone turquoise ring dating to the Victorian era. A wide 9 carat rose gold band is engraved with an alternating elongated star and beaded row pattern. At the front are three bezel set turquoise. The turquoise are a lovely light eggshell blue and slightly varied in colour. The blue of the turquoise looks great against the warm colour of the rose gold. Inside the band the hallmarks are deep and clear dating this ring to the 1880s.
The pattern is in great condition with the original solder line between the fingers.
Turquoise: 3 oval cut measuring approx 5 mm by 4 mm, 4.55 mm by 3.8 mm, and 4.6 mm by 3.9 mm.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1887 making this ring over 135 years old.
Size: UK - P.5; US - 8; EU - 18,1. Sizes taken from centre, wider rings may fit a bit differently, requiring a larger ring size, depending on finger shape. This ring is not suitable for resizing, resizing would disrupt the pattern and design.
Measures approx 7.4 mm wide all the way around by 0.65 mm deep at band and 2.55 mm deep at centre turquoise.
