Victorian turquoise small drop earrings. These are just the sweetest earrings! Robin's egg blue cabochon cut turquoise are bezel set at the base of the base of ear wires. The turquoise settings were likely originally buttons dating to the mid Victorian era. They've been converted at some point, having Victorian style curved ear wires attached. The ear wires seem to have been added in the Victorian era, though later than the turquoise. These are small earrings and are designed to sit right at the base of the earlobe. Circa mid 1800s turquoise with later 19th century conversion, British in origin.

Turquoise: measure approx 6 mm across.

Stamped 9ct on the back, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The gold is rosy in colour.

Measure approx 1.14 cm / 0.45 inches from top of ear wire to the bottom of the gem setting. Measures approx 6.9 mm across bezel setting.

Weigh 0.96 grams together.
