Antique 9 carat gold trombone link bracelet. This much coveted link is difficult to find! Elongated rectangular shaped links, commonly referred to as trombone links, are connected by a series of smaller rounded links. It's a much loved, classic style. Circa early 20th century, 1910s, British in origin.
In very good condition with a nice tight dog clip clasp!
The centre link is hallmarked for 9 carat gold, London 1919. Each link is stamped 9 . 375. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is a warm, rose colour, a hint of yellow though much closer to rose than yellow.
Measures approx 19.8 cm / 7.8 inches in length, 5.9 mm wide. It can be shortened by removing links. Each elongated link is approx 21.7mm long by 5.7 mm wide.
Weighs 13.2 grams.
