Antique 9ct gold split ring with an engraved design dating to the Victorian era. This ring has a split, like a key ring, which pulls apart to allow charms to be added or jewellery to linked together. The split is about 30% of the way around and fastens very tightly. This split ring would be best for connections or charms and pendants which you don't want to take off the ring often. The scroll design is deep and crisp. Late Victorian, 19th century.
