Simple 1940s Vintage Platinum Wedding Ring. Octagonal Shape Late Art Deco Wedding Band.
Add to WishlistA sweet Art Deco platinum wedding ring. This style of wedding band was popular during the late Art Deco, World War II era. It's a bit of a spin on a plain, round wedding band. The inside of the ring is round and the outside is an octagon. Rather unusually for the time period, the inside edges are rounded a bit to give the ring a more comfortable fit on the finger. The sides are flat so it sits nicely with other rings. This ring has a very slight circle pattern engraved on each of the points of the octagon. Circa 1940s, European in origin.
Hallmarks: Platinum, also tested.
Size: UK - K; US - 5 3/8; EU - 50. Not sizeable without disrupting the shape.
Approx 2.07 mm wide by about 1.4 mm rise off the finger.
Weighs 2.65 grams.
