Vintage sapphire single stone engagement ring. A bit of a twist on the classic solitaire! The deep blue sapphire is oval in shape, a lovely and flattering cut. Eight claws hold their precious gem on a narrow tapered shank. From the side this ring gets even more beautiful. The underside of the collet is pierced in a pretty little scroll design. This would make a wonderful engagement ring or birthstone ring. Sapphires are the birthstone for September. Circa mid 20th century.

Sapphire: deep blue, oval in cut, approx 8.5 mm by 5.4 mm and calculated as 1.04 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold.

Size: UK - M.5; US - 6.5; EU - 16,9. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5 / 16,1 and P.5 / 8 / 18,2. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 9.4 mm by 6.6 mm on top by 5.45 mm deep. 1.85 mm wide band.

Weighs 3.3 grams.
