Sapphire and diamond three stone engagement ring. This late 20th century sapphire and diamond is a classic! A deep blue oval cut sapphire is flanked by bright white diamonds in a trilogy design. The diamonds are set in illusion style mountings, with little engravings around them to reflect light and make them appear larger. The sloped white gold topped mount creates a cathedral style band. This ring is two-tone with the gem set mounting white and the D shape profile band yellow gold. Circa 1970s, British in origin.
Sapphire: dark blue, oval cut, approx 6 mm by 4.55 mm.
Diamonds: 2, round brilliant cut, approx 0.07 carats together.
Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1975.
Size: UK - M; US - 6.25; EU - 16,75. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 / 15,9 and P.5 / 8 / 18,2. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures 6 mm wide by 5.1 mm deep. 1.8 mm band.
