Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring set in yellow gold and platinum. A bright blue oval shaped sapphire is bezel / rub over set in the centre with a smaller old cut diamond on either side. The three gemstones are tilted across the finger, a lovely look popular during the early 20th century. The tops of the band are carved into a leaf design and engraved with a beaded design which glitters when it catches the light. This ring is topped in platinum on the top and the back is 18 carat yellow gold. Circa 1915 - 1930s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 2, old full cuts, approx 0.08 carats total.

Hallmarked 18ct Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
