Stunning sapphire and diamond engagement ring set in platinum. Shining brightly from the centre is a lovely lighter blue sapphire in a rectangular shape. I love lighter stones! Unlike deeper stones they tend to stay bright even in lower light. The slightly purplish tint to this sapphire is attractive and the contrast really works with the diamond halo. The sapphire has cut corners and is secured by a single claw to each corner and with framed by a halo of 20 round brilliant cut diamonds which create the same clipped corner shape. An additional 14 diamonds, seven on each side, are set into the shoulder on a slender plain, polished band.

This ring was made by us by casting the mounting and setting the gemstones.

Sapphire: lighter blue with a slight purple hue, rectangle in shape with a chequerboard facet pattern for chunkier facets. Measures approx 7 mm by 4.8 mm and has a known weight of 0.87 carats.

Diamonds: 34 total, round brilliant cut, approx 0.28 carats total, G colour, VS clarity.

Fully hallmarked for platinum with our assay mark, which is held at the London Assay Office.

Size: UK - L; US - 5.75; EU - 16,25. This ring can be sized between J.5 / 5.25 and N / 6.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 10.65 mm by 8.7 mm on top and rises 6.88 mm tall. Shank is approx 2.25 mm wide at diamond set shoulders tapering to 2.05 mm at back centre. It looks great on it's own and can easily sit flush with a wedding ring up to 2.1 mm deep because of how the basket is designed.
