Russian diamond ring dating to the mid 20th century. This ring is heavily domed at the top, in the bombe style, and is encrusted with diamonds. The diamonds are in a symmetrical floral style with seven bead set in a row down the centre and five on each side accenting the pierced metal work. Small beading graces the entire top, weaving around the diamonds and along the edges. The top is white gold and the band is a bright rose gold. The lovely two-tone metal work and highly domed top are simply eye-catching. Circa 1950s.

Diamonds: 17 round brilliant cut, calculated in setting as 0.20 carats total.

Russian Kokoshnik hallmarks for 14 carat gold. Lvov assay office. The style of hallmark indicates this piece was hallmarked between 1927 and 1958. We believe this piece is toward the end of that period, circa 1950s.

Size: UK - P; US - 7.75; EU - 56,25. This piece can be sized between M.5 / 6.5 / 53 and T / 9.5 / 61,5. Resizing smaller is likely to disrupt the hallmarks. Resizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.7 mm wide at top tapering to 2.5 mm at back centre. 5.5 mm deep at top.

Weighs 4.1 grams.
