Vintage 1960s 9 carat gold tassel earrings. The tops of the tassels are oval in shape with a rope design along the edges. Corrugated rows of gold swing slightly providing beautiful movement. These earrings are for pierced ears and the kidney shaped ear wire hook at the back for additional security. Circa 1960s, British in origin.

Hallmarked on the ear wire for 9 carat yellow gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1967.

Measures approx 3.4 cm / 1.33 inches long and are approx 8.45 mm wide at the widest point.

Weighs 3.05 grams.
