Vintage citrine drop earrings. These elegant earrings feature large 13 mm gemstones in a bright, sunny orange colour. The citrines are simply set in multiple tiny claws. Around the edges of the setting is a little engraved rope design. These earrings are on short wires, designed so they sit just on the earlobe. They'd make an excellent addition to a summer's day wardrobe, glowy on either side of the face. The gemstones and mounting appear to be earlier with the ear wires added later. These are circa mid 20th century mountings, crafted in the Victorian style. The gemstones might be earlier.

Citrines: vivid orange in colour, round cut, approx 13 mm across.

Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold, which is yellow in colour.

Measure approx 14 mm / 0.55 inches across.

Weigh 4.9 grams together, just under 2.5 grams each.
