Victorian decorative sterling silver tassel for a fob or chain. The top is slender with a stepped design. A floral design is engraved on the widest point with ridged patterns to the top and bottom. Swinging freely from the bottom are seven snake or foxtail link strands, each one finished with a silver bead at the end. A double chain is attached to the top. These little beauties were worn on a watch chain or Albertina and make great charms, Circa 1880s - 1900s.

Not hallmarked, acid tested as sterling silver.

Tassel alone measures 4.35 cm / 1.72 inches long and 9.4 mm at widest point. The tassel plus chain measure 7.5 cm / 3 inches.
