Antique gold tone intaglio seal. This mid 19th century seal is set with a dark coloured glass. Engraved in the bottom is Tho' Lost to Sight To Memory Dear. This is a line from a George Linley composition dating to around 1830. It's a sweet sentiment, used during the Victorian era, and still just as apt today. The top of this fob is engraved with a twig design around the edge, an equally bold column design is atop the paste with a foliate style design as the handle.

Measures approx 2.26 cm / 0.89 inches tall and the bottom approx 1.4 cm across.
