Ruby and pearl fly pendant set in 18 carat gold. This is an absolute little beauty! The thorax is set with the prettiest pinkish red ruby and the abdomen and wings are adorned with cultured pearls. It's such a lovely thing! Circa late Victorian era.

In very good condition. This fly pendant dates to the late Victorian era, modern conversion.

Ruby: oval in shape measuring approx 2.3 mm by 2 mm.

Seed pearls: 9 total. Biggest is approx 2.9 mm by 2.1 mm. Others are approx 1.2 mm to 1.4 mm each.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Measures approx 13.5 mm / 0.53 inches tall not including bail by 12.2 mm / 0.48 inches wingspan.

Pendant weighs 0.8 grams.
