A wonderful vintage silver plated colourful long paste chain. This chain dates to around the Edwardian to Art Deco era and features a rainbow of glass paste set in open backed bezel settings. The paste have pointed backs and are cut to sparkle as though they are little gemstones. Each paste is linked together with a single jump ring creating an unending row of lovely sparkle! This chain secures with a medium sized silver plated bolt clasp. Circa 1910s - 1920s, origin unknown.

Paste are a combination of pastel and primary colours: pumpkin orange, sea green, pink, forest green, royal purple, post box red and sky blue.

Not hallmarked, this chain is silver plated. The plating is in excellent condition with the metal underneath only showing though on the jump ring and clasp.

Glass paste are approx 5.7 including the bezel.
Measures 120.5 cm / 47.5 inches long.
