A lovely antique 9 carat rose gold chain measuring 144 cm. This chain has been crafted in a twist design with alternating sets of longer and shorter links. Three shorter twisted knot style links alternate with a single longer simple twisted link. The rose gold is a beautiful colour, very warm looking. This chain does not open and both ends are connected to a jump ring and attached to a dog clip which closes securely. This chain is long enough to wear doubled or tripled in layers around the neck. Circa 1900s, likely British in origin.

Hallmarked with a 9c on the tag on the end of the chain and tested as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures 72 cm / 28.35 inches double, which is 144 cm / 56.7 inches of chain, and is approx 2.6 mm wide.
