Peridot stud earrings in 9 carat yellow gold. These are such fantastic earrings! A large 6 mm beautifully cut round peridot is set in four sets of double claw prongs. The peridot are wonderful - so bright and sparkly. The mountings are designed as a spiral shape with four lobes. I think this gives them a subtly floral design. Small butterfly ear clasps fasten tightly to the post, securing them to the ears. These date to the second half of the 20th century, circa 1990s. Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August.

Peridot: bright lime green in colour, round cut, approx 6 mm each, total 1.8 carats as estimated within the limits of the mountings.
