
Opal cluster ring dating to the 1960s. This vintage opal dress ring is set with a larger oval opal in the centre. It's framed by ten smaller round opals. The gemstones are set in 9 carat yellow gold claws on a tapered design band. Circa 1960s, British in origin.
Opals: oval centre measures approx 8 mm by 6.1 mm. It's white in colour with small flashes of orange. 10 round opals of approx 2.3 mm. They display mostly blue and purple play of colour.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1964.
