Antique diamond engagement ring in a floral daisy shape. Antique old mine cut diamonds are set around a centre diamond to create a flower style engagement ring. The nine diamonds are a mix of antique old cut diamonds. Each diamond is irregular in shape, a beautiful testament to the hand cut nature of antique gemstones. The centre diamond is cushion in shape and the surrounding diamonds are a combination of oval, round and cushion old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds in this ring are bead set with small prongs between each and the outer edge is a smooth semi bezel / rub over style. Circa 1880s - 1910s, British in origin.
Diamonds: 9, old mixed cuts. Centre is approx 3.1 mm and the surrounding diamonds are approx 2.2 mm to 2.4 mm. Total carat weight, calculated as setting permits is 0.59 carats, L / M colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity.
Marked 18ct Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
