Lovely vintage diamond drop pendant featuring a single old European cut diamond set into a target shape design. This diamond pendant was probably originally a brooch with the diamond in the middle and a bar on each side. It's been converted into a much more wearable piece and is now a lovely diamond pendant! The old European cut diamond is set into a platinum topped bezel setting lined in milgrain beading. Around the diamond setting is a large space and then a wide platinum topped ring which slopes slightly outward. The effect is a target shape which increases the visual impact of this diamond. A platinum topped bar connects to a yellow gold bail.

The front of this pendant is topped in platinum and the back is a rosy coloured 15 carat yellow gold.

Diamond: old European cut, approx 3.7 mm and is calculated in setting as 0.17 carats, K / L colour, SI clarity.

Not hallmarked, pendant tested as high carat, 14 / 15 carat gold and platinum.

Measures 8.65 mm at widest point and drop 3.6 cm / 1.45 inches including the bail.

Pendant weighs 2.2 grams.

We've shown this pendant on both white gold and yellow gold chains. Because the bail is yellow gold and because my skin has somewhat yellow undertones I much prefer the yellow.
