Antique diamond stud earrings dating to the early 20th century. These are simply gorgeous! Diamond earrings are a classic, a wardrobe staple, and this is a wonderful pair. The diamonds, old European cuts with beautifully chunky facets in the much coveted floral style pattern. The diamonds sparkle from within their buttercup style setting which has six white gold claws atop a gold collet. From the top, all you see is white, while all that touches the ear is gold, great for those with metal intolerances. These date to circa 1920 - 1940, originally French in origin.

Diamonds: 2, old European cut, approx 4.6 mm each to total approx 0.80 carats together, I / J colour, SI1 / SI2 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold, which is rosy in hue. We've added modern 18 carat gold backs, which are yellow gold, a closer match than modern rose gold.
