
Diamond solitaire pendant set in 18 carat white gold. A stunning transitional cut diamond is set in an eight claw buttercup design mounting. The transitional cut diamond has a large table, small open culet, and a flowery facet pattern. Beneath the diamond, wider than it, is a frilly mounting. The claws form a deep u shape and this reflects light back to the viewer, a fantastic design which looks great when worn. Circa 1930s - 1940s pendant.
Diamond: transitional cut, measuring approx 4.45 mm, calculated as 0.28 carats, H / I colour, SI1 clarity within the limits of the mounting.
Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold, which is white in colour.
