
Mother of pearl and old cut diamond conversion earrings. These earrings, converted from a partial stud set, are circular in shape. A gold boarder is inset with a white mother of pearl piece and a bezel set old mine cut to the very centre. The two tone look is subtle, white around the diamond with the bezel around the mother of pearl in yellow. Circa 1890s - 1910, modern conversion.
In very good condition with minor wear.
Diamonds: old mine cut, approx 1.7 mm each to total about 0.06 carats together as estimated within the limits of the mounting.
Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold which is yellow in colour. The scrolls back are new and are marked 375 for 9 carat gold. We've added large scroll backs, not light weight ones, so they are easier to grip.
Measure approx 7.7 mm wide.
Weigh 1.8 grams total.
