Vintage garnet pendant designed as a horseshoe. Eleven round cut garnets are channel set around the outer edge of a horseshoe crafted in 9 carat yellow gold. The centre contains a single large oval cut garnet which is bezel set. This is a bold pendant, it stands out when worn and looks great layered or alone! The garnets are a deep red colour with purplish to brownish shades as the light catches them. Circa mid to late 20th century.

Garnets: 12 total. Large oval cut to the centre is approx 9.5 mm by 5.7 mm, approx 1.6 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting. 11 garnets of approx 4 mm, 0.25 - 0.30 carats each. Total of 4.65 carats as calculated within the limits the mounting.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat yellow gold.

Measures approx 26.5 mm / 1 inch tall not including the bail by 20 mm / 0.80 inches wide.

Weighs 4.7 grams.
