Wonderfully wide platinum wedding ring dating to the mid 20th century. Beautifully engraved orange blossoms are face up, dancing across the exterior of this band. This a wider width platinum wedder, with the design edge to edge. This particular style of engraving was popular during the late Victorian era which influenced the design when it experienced a resurgence in the mid 20th century. Circa 1950s - 1960s.

In very good condition with some age related wear to the pattern.

Stamped PLAT. Platinum was not hallmarked by UK assay offices with all the four stamps until the early 1970s. This ring has been professionally tested and assessed as platinum.

Size: UK - L.5; US - 6.25; EU - 16,5. Sizes taken from trailing edge to account for this being a wider band. This ring can be sized down a bit without disruption to the pattern, down to K.5 / 5.5 / 16,1.

Measures approx 7.3 mm wide by 1.1 mm deep.

Weighs 7.4 grams. This is a heavy and substantial ring.
