Antique five stone garnet ring dating to the early 20th century. This half hoop band is set with oval garnet gemstones in a graduated design. The bezel set garnets are a deep purplish red and the band a lovely rosy gold. At the end of the row of garnets is a split shank design with a plain, solid section in the back. Circa 1910s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Chester, date letter for 1912.
