Lovely French cut emerald ring with a diamond halo dating to the Art Deco era. A beautiful green emerald has been set into a platinum topped ring. Around the emerald is a frame of eight single cut diamonds. The diamonds are pave set with the edge of this ring dipping between of the diamonds creating a ruffled edge square top. This emerald and diamond ring is set on a narrow 18 carat gold band. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin.

Emerald: French cut, approx 2.3 mm.

Diamonds: 8, eight cut / single cut, approx 0.08 carats total weight.

Marked 18ct and tested as 18 carat gold.
